That's THE END !!

Hmm...anything to say before the next year comes??

Overall, it's a great year.

Although in the beginning of this year was a little bit unexpected,  I'm glad to say that my family and I had finally gone through the hard time together.

And I'm sure the good things are on the way to greet us in the coming new year~

There was a really big contrast between the 1st half and 2nd half of this year. And let me talk about some of the small achievements I've made~

In the 1st half of 2010, which was the time when I prepared for A2 examinations. I was so busy and always under tremendous stress especially after trials. Because my results were so bad that it really haunted me; until I couldn't sleep well almost every night. 

When I received the result slip seeing all the horrible grades I got, i didn't dare to tell anyone including my parents. What I did was to hide that slip deep under a big stack of old books, a place which I wouldn't see always.

I knew very well that my parents wouldn't scold or punish me, but I just didn't want to see them being disappointed. And I believed that I could do much better, just that I really needed to put in a lot more effort.

So I told myself no matter how much I needed to sacrifice, I would do it for I didn't want myself to regret after that. In the end, my hard work paid off.

I was very happy though my results were not considered as one of the bests, but was already very good for me. No regrets!!~  

On the other hand, another exam which I took during my trials, didn't turn out to be that good. That's my piano practical exam, but was lucky enough to pass by a few marks. PHEW~ 

After all the hard work, there came the longest holidays I ever had.

I've always wanted more holidays, but when the time really came I suddenly didn't know what I wanted to do, ohh how ironic is that??

Yup I'm pretty sure you can guess what was the "contrast" I meant just now.

In the 2nd half of the year, I was SUPERBLY  FREE  until I started to get bored of it. Everyday seemed to get more and more mundane & boring. I suddenly felt so useless.

Then only I started to make myself to do something more fun and beneficial. Like I worked for a beauty pageant event for 2 weeks. 

That was pretty cool coz that was my 1st time working, as a chaperon:) I have met people from all walks of life and from different countries. Working behind-the-scene can be quite fun too as you'll get to see many different interesting things, which I quite enjoy doing!!^^

It might sound like a pretty simple and inconspicuous job, but I'm going to prove you wrong! HAHA Not that easy after all. Yes I did have a lot of fun while working, but we did have many things to do / plan / arrange and etc.

Quite challenging as you may face many different problems. For example some of the contestants can't speak or understand mandarin, so we become their translators. When they are sick (e.g. headache / stomachache / menstrual pain), we give them medicines provided that the condition isn't too bad.When our Head of Department is too busy,we'll help to call the sponsors and etc. So we had a wide scope of work. And sleeping late is no doubt.

The happiest part was to see the event ended successfully.

And some of the trips which are worth mention would be the PD trip with my classmates & Taiwan trip with my family. Traveling is indeed one of the best ways to enjoy life !! Especially when going with awesome people :)

There were just too many things to be mentioned here. And I can't possibly list every single happening, occasion, experience down here. 

As the saying goes, "All good things will come to an end".


So hopefully next year will be even better !!! And very soon another new chapter of my life will be started!! ~ Can't wait to see!! HAHA :)

X-group Reunion!!!~

finally we managed to gather all the X-group members after sooo longggg~

It was really nice to meet everyone again and none of us has changed much... it still felt the same even though we hadn't met for quite a while (:

Thinking of where to eat actually took us quite awhile to decide, and we didn't feel like going to 1u so ended up at the foodcourt in Tmn Megah, since tw misses the hawker food so much, esp his favourite APAM!! :D

Then we had a hard time choosing what to eat as there were too many choices..HAHA so in the end we just ordered some noodles.

And it was pretty nice to eat in such environment but not until it rained cats & dogs... until the place started to flood and we had to lift up our legs just to avoid getting wet :) 

Right after we finished our food, we quickly ran to the place where it's fully-sheltered and tried to get an umbrella from sb bcoz the car was in an open-air carpark. 

Then we went back to tw's hse again. The funniest part was when we got so amazed seeing all the "artifacts" in his house and started all the oohs and aahs. 

while we were looking at the photos in the living room, I even thought the little kid who's in a dress was tw but actually that's his mother when she was a child, that's so so so funny!!:D

After hw reached, we started to play some games, one round of charades then we changed to another game where we broke out into convulsions of laughter, until my stomach ached like hell!!

We played using cards. So everyone gives yourself a name according to the theme set, then just take turns to take a card from the deck, and when you've taken a card which is the same as one of the players, then that two players will have to say each others' name. Whoever is slower needs to take the cards from the one who says the name 1st.

Sounds easy isn't?? But it turned up to be really funny and we had lots of fun just by playing that. All kinda of funny things could just happen :)

   ~It was a small reunion but we all had a great laugh!!

When I'm ready, you can tell the DIFFERENCE!!

Sometimes I just can't help it but to react strangely to certain things or to do things in such a way that ppl don't expect it to be, as they might think that I would do it the other way round.

I'm sorry that's bcoz I'm not ready yet OR I've edi had another plan in my mind. So if you were to ask me to do it the way you aspire, I'm afraid I might not be able to satisfy you.

I'm that kinda person who likes to do things as the way I've planned it or like how I've predicted it earlier on.

BUT that's only if I had plans or any ideas in my mind.

If not, that means that I'm not ready for that, then it's kinda hard for me to do it. I wouldn't say it's impossible, just that I don't think the end result would be what I wanted, then I'll get a lil disappointed.

SO when I'm ready, you can definitely tell the difference, coz I'll do whatever I'm supposed to do willingly and undoubtedly. 


One more thing, when I want some space for myself means I really need it, if not I'm not going to be normal...HAHA (: 

Actually there isn't any specific reasons why I'm blogging this, but that's just my way of doing things.

Maybe I can try to be more flexible and versatile when dealing with certain things in the future??  

BECAUSE

 Life shouldn't be so boring~

What a LOVELY city >> T A I P E I

I've been wanting to go on a vacation so badly, after staying at home for so long. And I really can't stand boredom anymore!! 

I always asked my family: " hmm.. should we go here, should we go there..." but they were all too busy to entertain me. 

 

Finally finally...HAHAHA :D my elder sis started her one-month break. Omg I was sooo happy.. even happier than her, for I knew we could plan to go somewhere together !!  YIPPEEeee !!!

After thinking twice, we decided to go to TAIWAN !!

We'd planned a free & easy trip, coz more FREEDOM...yeah!! So not going to explore too many places, just Taipei alone will do.

Heard that Taipei is a great place to go on a shopping spree, I couldn't wait to go ~ But too bad it's almost the winter season, if not I could have bought more clothes xd

Before going to Taipei, I had no inkling at all how's that city is like. But after spending a few days there, surprisingly I started to like this place. That's probably because it's so much better than what I expected.

Overall I think . . . .

Taipei is quite safe. 

Talking about safety wise, KL can never beat Taipei if the current situation were to persist. When I was in Taipei, I didn't have to worry that my bag will be snatched or beware of the pickpocket in a paranoid manner. That's one thing I like. Because if you were to feel insecure when traveling, you won't be able to enjoy the trip to the fullest.

Most of the toilets in Taipei are quite clean. 

e.g. When I was in the toilet, there was only one thread from my sis's dress that fell on the floor, then the cleaner immediately came and picked it up, then threw in the dustbin. And yes it's to that extent!! Super efficient!! A bit too much right but I think is actually GOOD!! Toilet cleaners here should learn from them but in an appropriate way :)

The Taiwanese I met in Taipei were quite nice.

Somehow I find them quite friendly and the way they speak is pretty polite. Hmm..maybe because we are tourists, that's why they treat us differently. But who cares? As long as they made me feel good; and they really did!! One of the salesgirls even drove all the way to our hotel to send the products we bought coz we thought it was too heavy to carry it all day long. I just like the highly-customised services they provide :)

*If you learned thinking skills, you'll find out that I've made some mistakes when drawing the conclusions above, that is to take some specific examples to draw a general conclusion... haha :)

WHAT do kids PLAY nowadays??

OMG!! They are playing with . . . . . . . .  iPad !!

That's scary. Should we say kids nowadays are smarter or they are just more exposed to all these sophisticated gadgets which we didn't get to see in the olden days???

Okay maybe you'll say: "Hmmm... it's common for kids to play with gadget like iPad what?" "What's so special about it??"HELLO.. you can see that almost everywhere !!"

But what struck me most was seeing a toddler who can barely walk in a proper manner to play with an iPad. The funniest part was when she held a baby bottle while playing with the iPad. That scene was simply unbelievable but kinda cutee also...xd

I was just too amazed by what a one-year old little girl can do. Maybe that's because I can't imagine myself doing that at her age.

HAHA.. I just couldn't believe what I saw. But I'm sure things like this will get more & more common in the near future. Oh no, the world is changing~ 

No doubt this can be an interesting way for the new generation to learn, but I just think that this will in a way affect a child's social development when they overuse it. Because the more time they spend on all these electronic devices, the less 'social practice' they will get. But if it's done in moderation, then it should be OKAY!!

I've composed a song few months ago. I got the inspirations from one of the sleepless nights I had. Hmm.. that was during A2 examinations, when the stress level was intensely HIGH.

It's pretty torturing when you can't sleep the whole night. But it's also because of that night, that gave me the inspirations to write this particular song.

I'm SORRY to people who can't comprehend or read in mandarin, because I've composed a mandarin song, a pretty random song. It's simple and full of imaginations, you might think that is a bit childish :P 

 

The scenario of this song is when you're sitting alone on a swing in the playground, you start to reminisce about your past when you were still a kid. And you wish to fulfil your dreams and achieve your goals in life with your childhood friend/s or it can be someone whom you like since young, just depends on how you look at it :). 

The title of this song "越荡越高" means the more you swing, the higher you are.

So, this is my very 1st experience, trying to compose a song and the music, I didn't play the background music , I only sang the song :p  I know there are still a lot more to learn, and improvements to be made.

My voice didn't sound that good due to sore throat. Anyway, I'm just a beginner!! Don't expect too much from me... hahaha :D 

It would be good to give me some comments or tell me my mistakes. So that I can IMPROVE !!!!!

** Yeah, finally siewming has turned 19. Hehe :) And so happened that I was free that day, so I'd decided to do something for her as a gift. 

I decided to make a video for her,more like a photo slide show actually ^^ hmm... the quality of this video isn't that good, coz some of the photos aren't that clear, and I was lazy to edit them :p

But I think this is at least better than the previous video :) for I had more time to figure out what I wanna do :D

What A BUSY month I have~

This month has been rather busy. I actually feel happy when I'm busy (: 

Starting of this month, on the 1st of july, I had my interview at imu. Until now I still haven't gotten my offer letter. So I seriously have no idea whether they will accept me :(

Then, NEXT... was our long-awaited class trip which had finally been realized, after so many changes being made. 

From our very initial plan to club med, changed to Pulau Redang, then followed by Pulau Langkawi, and in the end we had decided to go to somewhere nearer and more affordable ~ Port Dickson!!! 

So this is BS2 second class trip, it was AWESOME but it would be even better if another 50% of our classmates could make it :) 

And we stayed at the nicest & coolest hotel in PD - Avillion Hotel. I really like this place!! With its breathtaking sceneries, it just made me feel good to be there :D Very relaxing and peaceful ~

We didn't waste even a single second in PD. From morning till night, we were fully occupied with all sorts of activities. On the 1st day, after we checked in we walked around and started planning what we could do in this hotel.

Our very first outdoor activity was - SOCCER. And since there were 10 of us, so each team had 5 members. I had never played this b4 and it's even harder when we had to play it on the sandy beach. 

I would say that was a good experience.. hahaha one of my team members even got muscle cramps, and that was funny:D I didn't help him, but what I did was to quickly take out my camera and snap a pic. hehe I'm so evil XD

That was the only activity on that dayyy. Then after bathing, we went to search for a seafood restaurant named "Seaview". Had a scrumptious meal there, the funny part was when mr. nxj ate the remaining part of the fish w/o asking if any1 wants it. So he just placed the whole fish on his plate and started eating. 

On the 2nd day, there were more activities going on~ In the morning, few of us decided to go for a morning jog. But in the end we went to the gym room instead. 

Then, we played volleyball. It was actually drizzling but we didn't care. And I sucked at this game because I was too scared that the ball would hit me. 

And in the end it hit me full in the face. Ouch, the pain was intense but only lasted for a few seconds. My face was covered with sand. Hehee I was literally sandy ^^ After that, I still continued playing and I became more alert this time. I learnt from my mistakes :)

Then in the afternoon, when it was scorching hot, we played in the swimming pool. It was as if we wanted to get sun-burnt so badly that we chose to play at this hour..xd So we played water-polo which is of our own version. The ball we used was 1,000 times smaller than the actual size. Again we were divided into 2 teams. This was really fun!!!!

Then our lunch was PIZZAS at Pizza Hut. Apparently, the Pizza Hut here got some awards, I was wondering what it was as there were flies buzzing around. Perhaps the "Cleanest Pizza Hut".

Then whenever we were free, there would be some gambling and chit-cat sessions just as usual. Some of them were fishing, taking photos using dslr, etc.. I myself enjoyed walking around the hotel the most :)

Then in the evening, we played tennis~ yea another sports which I'm lousy at. I think I'm better at searching for missing balls :D than to actually play it. Coz I injured my hand while I was playing.

The next day my right hand was trembling when I held something. Haizz...It's time to take up more sports, I know I seriously need that, coz I'm super unfit for all these :p I don't mind getting injuries if I can master it :)

On both nights, we had our dinner at Seaview, coz we couldn't find any other better places to go. 

THE only bad thing is we couldn't make too much noise in the hotel when it's late in the night. A security guard actually came over to complain when everyone got too excited and started talking too loudly. 

After all, it was a great trip and it was really fun. At least I've done something which I've not done , played or experienced before. Good experience!! 

Still remember, last time when I blogged about my trip to pd, I actually hoped that I could one day go there with my friends. And yea unexpectedly it did happen :) 

When I came home that day, I was supposed to help out for the semi-finals rehearsal (this is for a beauty pageant event which I'm involved) So I am one of the crew members. okay I was reallyyyy tired that night. And they could only have their rehearsal session after pavilion closed. So I stayed up till almost 2a.m. And I almost fainted coz I was really too exhausted.

The next night I went to KBU as it was BUD4's malam bakat!!! Had a great time there, met many friends and my sister did perform well that night~  I was still very tired that night but getting to see all my dear friends made me feel so excited !! :D

On 19th of July, it's the semi-finals for 22 contestants. Out of the 22 contestants, only 12 would be selected. The event started at 2p.m. but I had to be there at 8a.m. for another rehearsal, that's why couldn't make it to jfh. Well, it was held at the concourse area of Pavilion, sponsored mainly by Da Vinci.

After that, there was another event at Tropicana City Mall. And that was how I spent the whole day!

After this, I'll be free for around one week !! :) SO I'm going to see my friends as often as possible as most of them are still having holidays now!!~

When everyone else thought that I was crazy, I still persisted in doing it. I just didn't care what others said about me. I knew there was definitely no need for me to do this, nobody used a gun and forced me to do so. I did it willingly and did not expect to get anything out of it. Maybe this is just something which I'm passionate about at this moment, no matter how much time or money I spent it didn't matter at all. Most importantly my friends will like this and the end-products turn out to be nice. Below is how my little factory was being operated.

I found this rather fun but after doing every step for 17 times, I think I started to get tired and bored... hahaha.. The thought of giving up kept coming out, but I wanted to see the END-PRODUCTS so badly, so I told myself no matter what MUST finish it !!!!!!!!!

So far, this is the very 1st task that I'd completed after my holidays began. You may think that I'm trying to show off or giving myself trouble for no good reasons, I don't know!!! Anyway I just wanna show my readers what I did when I was sooo FREE!!!

I think it's time for me to do something else because if I were repeat this whole process, I'll show up a little white flag "I SURRENDER". Once is good enough! :D
