Being 19

Wow.... I'm actually 19 now & it's kinda hard to believe that.. coz this is like the last year of my teens..

So this year I decided to celebrate my 19th with my dear friends (mostly from college & some secondary school friends too)

I just don't know why I suddenly had the urge to have a bday party... It was merely a random thought on Friday morning when I was on the way to college...

While I was sitting with all my classmates... I tried my luck by asking eveyone to see if they could make it..

Gladly to tell you most of them could make it so I decided to call more ppl for my party.

Coz it was like super last-minute, I only called a few friends whom I'm close with and stay somewhere nearby... so that it would be easier for them to come...

Then, I only told my parents about it when I reached home on fri... I'm very naughty rite... never asked for parents' approval before doing sth... 

But I know they would allow me to do so as they love me sooo much... haha

And so happened that they won't be around on my birthday so they said it would be good to celebrate with my friends~ YEAH !!!

After that, I quickly ran to the kitchen and told my maid that she had to cook something for my b'day party and the only thing I could think of is her 'Nasi Lemak' (she doesn't use coconut milk powder,  instead she uses coffee mate powder) that's why the nasi lemak tastes slightly different.

On Saturday, I was busy shopping for stuffs for my party . Then, I met sm, cali & hw at one-U ( it was an unplanned gathering ) 

Then I saw a place where they sell stuffs for party.. so I bought some balloons as my sister said she could help me with the decorations..

Sooo I had blown 15+++ balloons... blew until my cheeks became numb edi.. hahaha... but still feeling really happy & at the same time thankful when I saw everyone was busy preparing for my party...

When everything was done, I really like the way my sisterS decorated my house using all the balloons we blew.. It was sooooo niCE~

The weather forecast was true enough but luckily the rain only started after everybody had finished their foods , then we all moved into the house to play some games.. 

This game is like everyone has to come out with a Noun, a Verb, and an Adverb then place them into their respective cups.. after that u 'll have to draw from each of this cups and act it out to let the others guess... it was so funny !! : D

Then after that was the cake-cutting session... there were two cakes for me. One was bought by my sis and the other one was from BS2 guys (chin wei, choon lim, chung yi, zhen-howe, siew hong, kam yoong)....thanks alot !!! :)

Then here comes the photo-taking session... I kept taking pictures with friends as it was really a special moment that I would want to remember !!!

Lastly, was to open presents given by all my lovely friends, they gave me something which I really did not expect..guess what?? 

Is actually something that looks like a disco ball.. hahahahahaha... but u know what... I LIKE IT coz is cool....hahahahaha... then there are earrings & wishing crystals (from siew ming, sok nee, wan yean, tse wei, bobo, kee aik, ji-ann, huei-wen, cali & erika) 

And amber gave me a really nice photo frame and some stickers with my name on it~

Food For Thought~

In the twinkling of an eye, "2009" had finally ended and it was well spent... Now, everything  seems to become better and better day by day... Last year, I was really glad to have known a bunch of new friends from college. All of us had always been working hard together so as to do well in A-levels. I really like my class~ BS2 ("Be Spirited 2gether")~

At the same time, I never forget about my old school friends... even though we no longer study at the same place but our long-lasting friendship will never change.... I still miss those days when I was in school, everyone wearing the same uniform unless you have diff positions from others.

As time passed, things started to change... Undeniably, I had my ups and downs last year... But none of those was as serious as what I experienced before that, I think the saddest moment was when my grandfather was being hospitalized. And now I know he is trying hard to adapt to the changes in his lifestyles. DON'T  GIVE  UP!!

LAST year I had been to a few places with different people during the holidays... The 1st one was my trip to London & Paris with my cousin sister to visit my sister. Then, the 2nd one was HK trip with my mum & sisters, the 3rd trip was going to Pangkor with almost all my classmates from BS2, then followed by S'pore trip with my secondary school friends. All those trips have definitely brought many fond memories that are still lingering vividly in my mind.

Now I'm starting not to fear criticism unlike how I used to be ; I use criticism as a powerful incentive to learn and improve...though sometimes is really hurtful to hear the truth but is still better than hearing the fabricated praises. Besides, I realise that I should not wait for the perfect opportunity to come along but instead I should make the one I have in hand as good as possible. Maybe I'm getting older now that's why having so many thoughts in my mind...When I come to think of it, I'll turn 19 soon when some of my friends just turned 18 not long ago... time passes really fast~

Finally 2009 has come to an end, and a brand new year has just begun..
