Make your CNY more alive :)

I know cny is ending soon, but still HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR everyone!!

This new year has been pretty cool. Nothing too exciting nor too boring, everything felt just nice!!

I did what most Chinese would usually do during this long-awaited festival, like going around to collect angpows (b4 I'm considered too old) , watching lion dance performances & fireworks, & so on and so forth...

But there's something which not every Chinese will do, to be more precise I meant the Chinese ladies.

It has just been a tradition in my family that on the 1st day of CNY, all the ladies in my family will wear cheongsam (a traditional dress for Chinese women).

So when did that start?? hmm.. few years back :) Who made it a  must ?? IS......no one :D

Actually we just found it fun, and most importantly it could bring out the feel of CNY. And somehow that makes me feel more like a Chinese. Really I'm serious...haha. 

Wearing cheongsam might be a little uncomfortable because it's really tight. BUT if you want to look good in cheongsam, it has to be tight-fitting. No pain, no gain!! ^^

This is merely a one-year-once thing for me. So no matter how uncomfortable I feel at times, I tell you I still enjoy the sheer pleasure of wearing cheongsam!! :D

How I spent my day~

Now itS already 2 am in the morning, so is considered as the third day of cny. Y am i sleeping soo late?? actually i was sleeping all day long in the afternoon ...bcoz i had no where to go. For the past few years , i would be at my dad's friend's hse. However, this year he no longer wants to have an open house at his place. I guess the reason for dis must be its too fatiguing. This means that i can't get his RM 50 angpow...haha :) And i hope there will be more things 4 me to do in the following days..or else this cny is goin to be so boring.. I realise sth: one person is missing again !! She is my sister!! she still can't get back to celebrate with us coz she is having a major exams durin cny..so sad. She has not been at home for abt three years during cny..as they don't have holidays in uk.This is so not nice..we cannot sit together for reunion dinner.Her absence does make a lot of differences to me. Somehow i'll feel happier when she's at home.. Duh.. she's my sister. She is always the one whom we 're proud of. By next year, she'll be back!!! I no longer need to see her face through webcam or get angpows on behalf of her. Till now, i have not experienced being apart with my family for a long period of time, so i really i don't know how it would be like. But definitely is not going to be nice. Anyway, here i would like to wish everyone :
